Done 1.3.0 — restoring employees, tidier lists and clear permissions
Release 1.3.0 is a small one. A deleted employee can now be brought back, deleted projects show up in lists as deleted, and stray roles and confusing access denials no longer throw you off.
Bringing a deleted employee back
Deleting an employee used to be final: they vanished from the table for good. The employees table now has a “Deleted” toggle. Turn it on and, instead of the active employees, the table shows the deleted ones. Each has a “Restore” button that brings the employee back. The toggle remembers its position, so if you look through deleted employees often, you don’t have to switch it on every time. Viewing and restoring deleted employees is available to those who have the right to do it.
Tidier lists
A deleted project in a dropdown used to look like any other, and it was easy to pick by mistake. Now a deleted project’s name carries a “(project deleted)” note. One more thing: the list of global roles no longer includes roles from modules you don’t have installed. Only the roles that actually work in your build remain.
A clear access denial
Permissions in Done are checked on the server on every request. A request without the necessary rights used to fail vaguely; now there’s a clear answer for that case. If you’re missing the rights or you aren’t logged in, an API request returns “403 — access denied”, and a regular page shows an error or sends you to the login. That way it’s clear the action didn’t go through because of permissions, not for some other reason.
