Done 1.0.0 — the first release
Hi! This is the very first version of Done — a Nextcloud app that helps teams understand where their working time goes and keep projects, people and numbers in one place. Let’s walk through what Done can already do in release 1.0.0.
Time tracking
The heart of Done is time tracking. An employee adds an entry: which project or task they worked on, how much time they spent, and an optional comment. Everyone keeps their own personal log, and a manager can review the time for a specific person. And a nice touch for order: entries have a change history, so you can see who changed what and when.
Reports and statistics
From these entries Done builds reports — a general one, by project and by employee — and shows statistics. There’s nothing to compile by hand: the data is already where you need it, all that’s left is to look.
Projects, teams and company structure
Done is not only about time. There are projects (with planning and a budget), clients, directions and stages. Employees can be grouped into teams, linked to directions and assigned roles on specific projects. The result is a complete picture: who is working on what and how the company is organized.
Employees and profiles
Every employee has a profile with contact and HR details and a job title. And Done likes things to look human: both profiles and projects can be styled — avatars, colors, background images.
Customizable tables
Lots of data means you need convenient tables. In Done they’re “smart”: columns can be shown, hidden, reordered and resized — both personally for yourself and globally for everyone. There’s multi-level sorting and filters that are worth saving and reusing.
Custom fields
Not enough standard fields? Add your own. Done supports custom (dynamic) fields, dropdown lists, comments on fields and even control over the order of fields in a card. The app adapts to how your particular team works, not the other way around.
Roles and access rights
Who sees and can do what is decided by roles. Done has global roles (Administrator, Director, Manager, Curator, Employee and others) and a permissions matrix: role access to fields in different sections is finely tunable. And it’s not just for show — permissions are checked on the server on every request.
Export and files
Any data can be exported to Excel, and files can be attached to entries.
Platform and languages
Done runs inside your Nextcloud: the data stays in your infrastructure, and access is managed by Nextcloud itself. The interface comes in five languages right away — Russian, English, German, Spanish and French.
